Space Elevator is a ridiculously easy-to-use virtual reality (VR) design tool that allows you to step into the role of an architect. Design your dream house, explore how color influences your mood, or step beyond conventional architecture and create spaces that feel truly otherworldly. Featuring adjustable construction elements, over 200 custom-made plants and pieces of furniture, a large selection of skies, a library of sounds and, most importantly, stellar UX design, Space Elevator is destined to become your go-to spatial design tool.
Space Elevator is available here on the Meta store and is running on Quest 2 and 3 virtual reality devices. This public standalone version allows anyone to develop spatial designs. The resulting geometry can be exported in glb format for import into Blender or other screen-based modeling software.
For more complex architectural projects, we use custom versions of Space Elevator. This workflow allows us to import existing geometry into a scene and to add project-specific functionality. If you have an architectural project and would like the ability to move walls and windows in VR, feel free to reach out – we’d be happy to assist you.
It’s both that and so much more! We believe the best productivity apps should feel like a game: intuitive, engaging, and fun to use. Space Elevator includes unexpected features, like our dystopian file management system/elevator. Ultimately, user engagement and enjoyment are the strongest UX strategies.
